Why companies choose an Employer of Record

  • No local entity required

Skip 3โ€“6 months of incorporation, registered capital, and local director requirements. Employ legally from day one under our entity.

  • Compliance owned end to end

Local labor law, employment contracts, social insurance, tax filings, and statutory benefits are our legal responsibility, not yours.

  • One invoice, every market

Nine countries, nine currencies, one monthly USD invoice. No local bank accounts, no FX handling, no per-country payroll vendors.

  • Misclassification risk removed

Convert contractors to compliant employees. Statutory entitlements, IP assignment, and severance obligations are all covered by the employment contract.

Country-specific contracts in the local language where required, covering probation, notice, working hours, IP assignment, and confidentiality.

02

Payroll & tax filing

Monthly gross-to-net calculation, salary disbursement in local currency, income tax withholding, and filing with local authorities.

03

Social insurance, health cover, pension and provident funds โ€” BPJS, CPF, EPF, SSS, MPF and equivalents โ€” enrolled and remitted every month.

04

Leave & HR administration

Annual, sick, maternity and paternity leave tracked to local entitlement. Payslips, employment letters, and HR records in one workspace.

05

13th month pay, THR, Tet and year-end bonuses calculated and paid on the statutory deadline in each market.

06

Offboarding & severance

Notice periods, final settlements, statutory severance, and de-registration handled to the letter of local law, so exits stay clean.

How our EOR works, step by step

1

Tell us who you want to employ, and where

Share the role, country, salary, start date, and any benefits you want to offer. We confirm what local law requires and send an all-in monthly quote.

2

We issue a compliant employment contract

Your team member is employed under our owned entity in-country, on a contract that meets local labor law and assigns IP to you.

3

They join your team, you direct the work

Day-to-day management, reporting lines, tools, and performance stay entirely with you. We are the legal employer, not the manager.

4

We run payroll, taxes, benefits and filings

Salary, withholding, social contributions, statutory bonuses and leave are handled monthly. You pay one USD invoice.

EOR vs setting up your own entity

An entity makes sense at scale in a single market. Below that, an EOR is faster, cheaper, and reversible.

Frequently asked questions

What does an Employer of Record (EOR) do?
An EOR is the legal employer of your team in a country where you have no entity. It issues the employment contract, runs payroll, withholds and files income tax, enrols employees in statutory benefit schemes, and carries the compliance liability. You keep full day-to-day direction of the work.
What roles can I employ through an EOR?
Any role you would hire onto your own payroll — engineering, finance, marketing, sales, operations, customer support, HR, design, and management. An EOR is a legal employment arrangement, not a role-specific service. The only limits are roles that local law reserves for licensed or entity-employed staff.
How fast can employees be onboarded through your EOR?
Most employees can be onboarded within 5–10 business days, depending on the country and how quickly documentation and background checks clear. Contracts, registrations, and payroll setup run in parallel from day one.
What makes EOR ideal for Asian markets?
Labor law, social insurance schemes, mandatory bonuses, and severance formulas differ sharply between the nine markets we cover, and entity setup rules vary just as much. An EOR gives you one commercial relationship and one invoice across all of them, without registering a company in each.
Can I offer localized benefits through an EOR?
Yes. As the legal employer we enrol your team in the statutory schemes their country requires — social insurance in Vietnam, SSS and PhilHealth in the Philippines, CPF in Singapore, BPJS in Indonesia — and administer local norms such as 13th month pay and Tet bonuses. Supplementary benefits like private medical cover, equipment stipends, or learning budgets can be layered on top and billed through the same monthly invoice.
Who owns the IP my EOR employees create?
You do. Every employment contract we issue includes IP assignment and confidentiality clauses drafted to be enforceable under local law, so work product and inventions transfer to your company.
Can I convert existing contractors to EOR employees?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons companies come to us. Long-term contractors who work fixed hours under your direction are a misclassification risk in most Asian jurisdictions. We move them onto compliant employment contracts with the statutory entitlements they are owed.
Do I still control the work my team does?
Absolutely. You maintain full control over responsibilities, reporting lines, performance management, tools, and team culture. We handle the legal and administrative backend only.
What happens if I later open my own entity?
We transfer the employees across. Their tenure, accrued leave, and statutory entitlements are preserved, and we co-ordinate the timing with your local registrations so there is no gap in employment or payroll.
